Synthetic Flight Instructor – Airbus Training Centre

About the role

Airbus Beijing is looking for experienced Synthetic Flight Instructors to join its Training Centre. You will deliver high‑quality training to airline crews transitioning to Airbus aircraft, using full‑flight simulators and classroom devices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions on Full Flight Simulators for A330, A320 and related pilot training devices.
• Instruct trainees, evaluate their progress, and produce written performance reports.
• Determine when additional training is required to meet proficiency standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of training documentation.

Required profile

• Current or former holder of an EASA ATPL.
• Valid EASA Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) or Type Rating Instructor (TRI) authorization.
• At least 1,500 flight hours on A320, A330 or A350, including 100 hours as Pilot‑in‑Command.
• Previous experience as an SFI/TRI on A320 or A330.
• Fluent English for teaching, briefing and debriefing.

Required skills

• EASA ATPL certification.
• EASA SFI or TRI authorization.
• Extensive flight experience on Airbus FBW aircraft (A320/A330/A350).
• Simulator instruction expertise for A320/A330 platforms.
