Supply Chain Planning Analyst (Intelligent Warehouse & Automation)

About the role

Caterpillar is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to drive integrated supply‑chain solutions and performance improvements. You will work with internal and external partners to develop intelligent warehouse systems and automation technologies that enhance efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, define, and implement integrated supply‑chain solutions, building alliances across the organization.
• Apply knowledge of intelligent supply‑chain technologies such as vertical warehouses, AGVs and automated tooling equipment.
• Establish effective partnerships and best‑practice links with business units and external suppliers.
• Research industry benchmarks and metrics to design optimal supply‑chain models for product sets.
• Utilise digital tools (Power BI, Power Apps, etc.) to analyse data, prioritize improvement opportunities and optimise inventory utilisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automation equipment development or supply‑chain roles.
• Experience with intelligent warehouse projects (e.g., AGVs, vertical storage) is a plus.
• Strong project‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualisation.
• Experience with Power Apps for building custom business applications.
