Strategic Account Manager

About the role

Copeland is seeking an experienced sales professional to own and grow strategic customer relationships. As a Strategic Account Manager you will lead complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles and develop long‑term account strategies that deliver sustained value for both the customer and Copeland.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term, account‑specific growth strategies for assigned strategic customers.
• Build and sustain executive‑level relationships across customer organizations, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder sales opportunities using consultative solution‑selling practices.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including sales, engineering, and services—to deliver integrated solutions.
• Apply deep market, customer, and technical insight to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risk.
• Maintain accurate forecasts, opportunity plans, and account strategies within CRM systems.

Required profile

• Ten or more years of experience in B2B or technical sales supporting complex customer environments.
• Proven success managing strategic or enterprise‑level accounts.
• Advanced consultative selling, opportunity management, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to engage and influence executive‑level stakeholders.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the country of employment – sponsorship will not be provided.

Required skills

• Proficient use of CRM tools for pipeline, forecast, and account plan management.
