About the role
3M is seeking a Senior Marketing Executive to lead new product introductions, portfolio strategy, and demand generation in a fast‑moving consumer market. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution to drive growth and commercial success.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop local new‑product‑introduction (NPI) opportunities, build business cases, and manage the launch process.
- Own the portfolio’s product, price, place and promotion, optimizing margins and supporting sales growth.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market segmentation to uncover growth opportunities and generate demand.
- Lead integrated consumer campaigns on platforms such as RED and Douyin, tracking performance metrics and optimizing results.
- Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, sales, and applications engineering to align product roadmaps, pricing, and go‑to‑market plans.
- Create technical collateral—including whitepapers, case studies, and demos—to highlight product benefits.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product/portfolio marketing, technical marketing, or strategic business development, preferably in consumer‑facing industries.
- Proven track record of launching products from concept to commercial scale.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
