Solutions Architect – SMB Cloud Solutions

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Solutions Architect focused on small‑and‑medium business (SMB) customers. You will partner with sales and technical teams to design, build, and promote scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that help enterprises adopt AWS services.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor, communicating with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Lead deep architectural and design discussions to create world‑class solutions on AWS.
• Author customer‑facing publications such as white papers and proof‑of‑concept demos.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategies that exceed revenue targets through AWS adoption.
• Build strong relationships with senior technical and business leaders to turn customers into cloud advocates.
• Share best‑practice knowledge across the AWS Solutions Architect community.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing cloud solutions for enterprise customers.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel regionally (approximately 15‑20% of the time).
