Software Engineer (Full‑Stack)

About the role
UL Solutions is seeking a full‑stack Software Engineer to accelerate automation and digitisation of laboratory operations. You will join a multidisciplinary team of engineers, data scientists and architects to build digital tools that improve lab workflows.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
- Collaborate with users, product and technology teams to gather requirements and deliver features.
- Analyse and resolve application issues, ensuring system performance and reliability.
- Support project tracking, progress reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in vendor selection, system requirement identification and solution recommendation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React.js, Angular or similar).
- Minimum 3 years of backend development experience using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask or FastAPI.
- Proven ability to work in cross‑functional, dynamic environments.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
