Social Manager, Planning and Editorial Content

About the role

The Social Manager, Planning and Editorial Content will lead the daily planning and creation of editorial content across lululemon’s key Chinese social platforms. Reporting to the Director of Social and Editorial Content, this role ensures the brand’s campaigns and stories are effectively amplified in the digital universe.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily social operations and editorial content on WeChat, Weibo, Xiaoyuzhou and Bilibili.
• Coordinate the social amplification of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring timely communication on official accounts and through influencers.
• Develop and execute content strategies for each platform, managing project timelines, budgets and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with the Creative, Digital and EC teams to build editorial calendars and drive business‑aligned content drops.
• Identify, activate and manage digital creators using appropriate tools and data insights.
• Conduct data analysis, build reports and use insights to continuously improve content performance.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Chinese social media ecosystems, especially WeChat, Weibo, Xiaoyuzhou and Bilibili.
• Proven ability to plan, create and oversee storytelling initiatives across multiple platforms.
• Experience managing budgets, project timelines and performance evaluation systems.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams and external influencers.
