Site/Operation Manager – Jianping

About the role

Clariant is seeking a Site/Operation Manager to lead its Jianping facility in Liaoning, China. The role is responsible for ensuring stable, high‑quality product supply while driving operational excellence and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain product supply stability with a p‑OTIF > 98%.
• Optimize production unit performance, capacity, and cost.
• Oversee site infrastructure, equipment maintenance, and budget compliance.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, intermediates, spare parts, consumables, finished goods and packaging.
• Develop the site according to business‑unit strategy and regional requirements.
• Prepare yearly investment plans, monitor CAPEX implementation and control costs.
• Ensure compliance with local permits, legislation and Clariant ESHA standards.
• Foster good relationships with local communities and maintain a safe work environment.
• Lead, motivate and develop the local operations team, including succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations/production within the chemical industry.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Basic understanding of financial measures.
