Service Center Technician

About the role

The Service Center Technician works in the workshop to perform high‑quality repair and maintenance of rotating equipment. The role supports production by ensuring machines are repaired, assembled and balanced according to technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Operate lathes and milling machines to complete turning jobs as defined in repair manuals or drawings.
• Disassemble, assemble and clean centrifuges, including decanters and high‑speed units.
• Perform self‑inspection of turning and assembly quality.
• Assist repair engineers in dynamic balancing of decanter bowls and high‑speed centrifuge drums.
• Carry out daily maintenance of lathes, drilling machines and other workshop equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean and tidy work environment.

Required profile

• Technical school diploma or equivalent with a mechanical background.
• At least five years of experience operating large lathes and other workshop machinery.
• Ability to drive forklift and overhead crane safely.
