Service Attendant – Fine Dining

About the role

We are seeking a Service Attendant to join the Food & Beverage team at Mandarin Oriental, Sanya. In this fine‑dining position you will deliver exceptional service to guests, ensuring their dining experience is seamless and memorable.

Key responsibilities

• Take guest food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Set up and clear tables according to the restaurant’s standards, maintaining a clean and organized dining room.
• Provide detailed knowledge of the menu, wines, liquors and cocktails to advise and upsell guests.
• Collaborate with server assistants and food runners to ensure timely delivery of dishes.
• Verify guest satisfaction at each course and anticipate needs without being asked.
• Maintain polished silverware, glassware and table settings throughout service.

Required profile

• Professional attitude with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, luxury hospitality environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
• Extensive knowledge of food, beverage, wine, liquor and cocktail service.
• Fine‑dining table setting and clearing techniques.
