Senior/Middle Frontend Developer (React)

About the role

Xsolla is looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join its Communications Platform team. You will help build and enhance a centralized messaging solution that connects businesses, gamers, and partners through chat widgets and popular messaging apps. The role involves creating interactive user interfaces with React.js and delivering robust server‑side functionality using Node.js and Nest.js.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate the communication platform with various Xsolla products.
• Develop new projects, modules, and reusable components.
• Participate in UI/UX design discussions and improve existing designs.
• Ensure product stability, performance, and reliability across the ecosystem.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Self‑driven, collaborative mindset with a passion for building scalable, user‑focused solutions.
• Comfortable working in a global, cross‑functional team.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with React.js and modern JavaScript.
• Experience using MobX for state management.
• Server‑side development knowledge of Node.js and the Nest.js framework.
• Working with databases such as MongoDB and IndexedDB.
• Understanding of REST APIs, WebSockets, and HTTPS.
• Familiarity with real‑time application concepts and Meteor.js (nice to have).
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, linters, performance analysis, Docker, Kubernetes, and Webpack module federation.
• Experience monitoring client‑side applications.
