Senior Test and Verification Engineer

About the role

The Senior Test and Verification Engineer will lead the definition and execution of system testing activities for Philips’ products in the Shenzhen lab and partner ODM sites. You will translate testing requirements into detailed test plans, run measurements, analyse results and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze system testing requirements and develop comprehensive test plans covering regulatory and company standards.
• Execute system tests, document results, and investigate deviations or anomalies.
• Perform complex testing and measurement activities for early‑stage or unstable processes in collaboration with product development teams.
• Evaluate test outcomes, produce detailed performance reports, and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define test objectives, scope, and deliverables aligned with project timelines.
• Create, maintain, and improve testing methods, measurement documentation, schematics, and setup diagrams.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in product development testing and verification, with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in test and verification within a product development environment.
• Experience with medical device testing (FDA regulated, ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820) is a plus.
