Senior Technical Sales Representative - Surgical

About the role

Medtronic, a global healthcare technology company, is looking for a Senior Technical Sales Representative for its surgical business in Wenzhou. This is a sales professional career stream role focused on selling Medtronic's products and services, building long-term relationships with distributors and healthcare professionals, and driving adoption in key accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Medtronic products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or customer accounts, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Build and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare professionals.
• Pursue leads, assess needs and provide product services to maximise the value of Medtronic's offerings.
• Promote and establish education about the company's products and services.
• Conduct market research on customers and competitors, implement market development plans and communicate customer feedback to R&D, Operations and Marketing.

Required profile

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and 8+ years of experience, or an Associate's degree and 6+ years, or a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years.
• Relevant sales, clinical or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare or life sciences.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and to influence external suppliers, customers and vendors, including through negotiation and presentations.
