About the role
We are looking for a Senior Team Leader to head the Business Development (Priority) team at Standard Chartered. The role is responsible for driving sales growth by acquiring new customers, expanding existing relationships and delivering high‑quality service.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day planning, operations and problem‑solving for the sales team.
- Ensure salespersons achieve defined sales targets and service standards.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, provide updates on promotions, procedural changes and management directives.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, AML requirements, audit standards and local regulations.
- Train, coach and mentor new and existing sales staff to improve performance and retention.
- Develop and implement action plans to boost team performance and achieve business objectives.
Required profile
- University degree or equivalent.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in financial services.
- Highly motivated, number‑driven with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
