Senior System Engineer – Intelligent Cockpit Drive Systems

About the role

The Senior System Engineer will lead the definition and integration of system architecture for Bosch’s Intelligent Cockpit drive solutions. Working closely with OEM and Tier‑1 partners, you will translate high‑level requirements into concrete system concepts and ensure seamless integration of suspension and drive components.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and partition system requirements, building physical system models and selecting appropriate concepts using Model‑Based Engineering.
• Lead the design of the drive system architecture, derive functional breakdowns, and create detailed architectural documentation in the ALM environment.
• Collaborate with customers, hardware, software and testing teams to align on requirements and drive integration across sub‑domains such as gear, motor, HW and SW.
• Conduct technical discussions, negotiate optimal system concepts, and guide root‑cause analysis and corrective actions during development.
• Participate in design reviews, provide feedback, and ensure compliance with Bosch BBM processes and industry standards.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of automotive system development methodologies, especially the V‑model.
• Extensive experience (5+ years) in automotive door or cockpit system development.
• Proficiency in model‑based system engineering and associated toolchains.
• Excellent English communication skills for interaction with global teams.
