Senior Sales Account Manager – Automotive OEM

About the role

Renesas is seeking a Senior Sales Account Manager to lead and grow relationships with key automotive OEMs and Tier‑1 customers. You will be responsible for driving revenue, promoting semiconductor solutions, and ensuring successful design‑wins that transition to mass production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with automotive OEMs and Tier‑1 customers (e.g., SAIC, HASCO, DF).
• Own annual sales targets and drive revenue growth across assigned accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities, expand market share, and promote design‑in of Renesas semiconductor portfolios.
• Collaborate with product marketing, FAEs, and distribution partners on joint customer visits and technical discussions.
• Manage demand forecasting, pipeline visibility, and order tracking to align customer demand with supply‑chain execution.
• Monitor competitor landscape, define product positioning, and support roadmap alignment.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
• Strong background in automotive semiconductor sales, preferably with China‑based OEM customers.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or a related field.
