Senior Program Manager

About the role

Moog is seeking a Senior Program Manager to act as the primary interface between the C929 program team, global design centres and strategic partner Qing’an. The role is fully remote based in Xi’an, China and focuses on technical support, project coordination and supplier engagement to ensure quality, schedule and manufacturing execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate aerospace manufacturing projects from design through qualification to production, tracking milestones, schedule, cost and risk.
• Provide structured reporting and escalation of technical or delivery risks with clear mitigation actions.
• Serve as the day‑to‑day engineering liaison, ensuring compliance with Moog technical requirements and acting as the communication bridge between global engineering teams and Qing’an.
• Support supplier‑led design development, review engineering data, and validate complex aerospace hardware.
• Plan and conduct technical reviews (PDR, CDR, design updates) and maintain configuration management, change control and documentation accuracy.
• Assist transition to production by assessing manufacturability, process capability and aerospace quality standards, including on‑site assessments and FAI compliance.
• Monitor design maturity, engineering deliverables and technical risks to provide early visibility.

Required profile

• Strong communication and cross‑cultural collaboration skills.
• Proven experience managing aerospace or high‑tech manufacturing programs.
• Ability to track progress against schedule, cost and risk and to report to senior leadership.
• Experience working with global engineering teams and external suppliers.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality, compliance and risk mitigation.
