Senior Mobile Engineer

About the role

Traveloka’s Engineering Team is looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to shape industry‑leading Android experiences across high‑impact business domains. You will design, develop, and maintain shared features such as the Homepage, Cross‑sell modules, and reusable product components that serve millions of travelers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Android features for shared business domains.
• Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable Android components and frameworks.
• Drive technical design and implementation with focus on scalability, maintainability, and extensibility.
• Analyze and optimize app startup time, time‑to‑interactive, rendering performance, memory usage, and runtime efficiency.
• Leverage AI tools and automation to improve coding efficiency, debugging, testing, and documentation.
• Support technical stack evolution, migration, and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, QA, and cross‑functional teams.
• Ensure strong engineering quality, testability, production stability, and contribute to on‑call support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in Android engineering.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Strong understanding of Android architecture, design patterns, and best practices for scalable applications.
• Solid knowledge of Android build, release, and distribution processes.
• Experience in performance optimization of Android apps.
