Senior Manager, Product Management – Coupling

About the role

The Senior Manager, Product Management – Coupling will lead market intelligence, portfolio strategy and new product introductions for the coupling division in China. This role partners with engineering, finance and commercial teams to drive growth, margin expansion and competitive advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct strategic market, customer and competitive analysis to build business cases and product requirement specifications.
• Develop product line roadmaps, lead voice‑of‑customer research and identify new product and service opportunities.
• Drive portfolio simplification using 80/20 principles, strategic pricing, mix‑up and demand‑shaping initiatives.
• Manage end‑to‑end new product introductions from concept through commercialization, including stage‑gate processes, financial modeling and go‑to‑market launch.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and engineering to create positioning, pricing, sales tools and promotional collateral.
• Oversee product lifecycle, SIOP participation, working‑capital optimization and obsolescence management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business or marketing; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of product management, marketing, strategy or related experience, including hands‑on sales or engineering.
• Proven track record in product line simplification, financial analysis and cross‑functional leadership.
• Strong communication, presentation and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel 30‑35%.
