Senior Manager, Business Development – Distributors

About the role

Senior Business Development Manager – Distributors will drive revenue growth and expand Ocean Spray’s distributor network across China, building strategic channel partnerships and deepening engagement with bakery and food manufacturing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop national distributor strategies, recruit and contract tier‑1 distributors, and set standardized tier‑2 sub‑distributor rules.
• Design and execute channel‑specific commercial strategies, including pricing, promotion guidelines and packaging standards.
• Lead market expansion initiatives to achieve targeted city coverage and support downstream penetration with bakery and snack manufacturers.
• Own distributor channel revenue and profit KPIs, drive monthly sales delivery and provide accurate rolling forecasts.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with R&D, supply chain, marketing and customer service to resolve channel issues and launch new products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 10 years B2B food‑ingredient industry experience with proven distributor development and contract management.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage complex cross‑functional projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 % domestically for distributor meetings and market assessments.
