Senior IT Auditor (IT审计高级助理)

About the role

The position supports the growth of the IT audit practice in Mainland China and involves leading or contributing to audit engagements of varying size. The role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical ability, and the capacity to mentor junior staff while delivering high‑quality audit opinions to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Execute fieldwork for small‑to‑medium IT audit projects and act as a core team member on larger engagements, handling interviews, meeting minutes, data collection and analysis.
• Perform audit testing on IT general controls, application controls, cybersecurity, and data governance.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of IT controls, identify deficiencies and propose remediation.
• Prepare comprehensive workpapers and draft audit findings, risk assessments, and management recommendation reports.
• Mentor junior auditors through on‑the‑job coaching and workpaper reviews.
• Monitor emerging technology risks such as cloud computing, AI, and data privacy, and contribute to methodology and tool enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Management, Audit, Accounting or related fields.
• 2–3 years of IT audit experience at an international accounting firm.
• Professional certifications such as CISA or CIA are preferred.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance, GDPR, PIPL and large ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Fluent in both Chinese and English, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• SQL and common database knowledge.
• Data analytics and visualization tools: Tableau and Power BI.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
