Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

This senior internal auditor position partners with the Director of Finance in Hyatt hotels across the ASPAC region, delivering objective evaluations, process‑improvement recommendations and ensuring compliance with internal control standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute finance internal audit reviews in Hyatt hotels according to defined scope and guidance.
• Identify risk areas, contribute to the annual audit plan and develop audit procedures, including interviews, evidence analysis and workpaper documentation.
• Prepare written reports and oral presentations of audit findings for senior hotel management.
• Promote the use of data analytics and AI tools in audit testing and represent Internal Audit on cross‑functional project teams.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of full‑time experience in auditing, accounting or business analysis; Big‑Four experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Hospitality.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA or Chartered Accountant is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with data‑analytics projects and AI‑powered analysis tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Familiarity with hotel systems such as iScala, Hyperion, Micros/Info Genesis and Opera.
• Strong written and verbal English communication for report writing and presentations.
