Senior Finance Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Lead to oversee end‑to‑end finance management for our operations in China. Based in Beijing, you will partner with the Group Finance Management team, drive financial planning, and ensure compliance with local regulations while supporting strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously improve the financial management control system and supervise daily finance functions including accounting, budgeting, analysis, treasury, tax, credit and foreign‑exchange risk.
• Participate in Group Finance strategic discussions, develop 5‑year plans and short‑term work plans, and ensure their implementation.
• Define investment and business strategies, conduct financial analysis and forecasting, and enhance the accuracy of quarterly and annual estimates.
• Monitor operational risks and ensure compliance with Chinese government regulations.
• Develop robust cash‑flow forecasts, track fund usage, and maintain budget discipline.
• Negotiate with external banks to secure financing at the lowest cost using creative financing tools.
• Promote synergy among finance teams across all Chinese entities and implement effective integration strategies.
• Provide cost‑management expertise, transparent communication, and professional advice to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting or a related field.
• More than 10 years of financial management experience in multinational companies, with at least 5 years leading finance teams in manufacturing enterprises.
• Proven experience as a regional finance leader or Finance Director.
• Deep knowledge of China GAAP, IFRS and local tax and SOE requirements; CPA or ACCA qualification preferred.
• Strong track record in cost management and improving profitability through analysis and control initiatives.
• Strategic understanding of business models, cost structures, treasury and tax planning.
• Ability to navigate complex, changing business environments and deliver value‑adding insights.
• High integrity, responsibility and reliability.
