Senior Electronics Engineer

About the role

Develops products, systems and/or solutions according to the V‑model by applying internal and external research results and technology advancements while considering both total system requirements and detailed design implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and develop electronic circuit designs, including MCU, power, sensing, motor drive, connectivity and protection circuits.
• Create detailed circuit designs, conduct simulations and perform design verification testing.
• Hands‑on hardware development and debugging while collaborating closely with software engineers.
• Select electronic components based on performance, availability, obsolescence and cost.
• Carry out PCB layout activities and support prototype build, integration and debugging.
• Establish hardware verification criteria, write verification plans and execute design verification activities.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues through structured root‑cause analysis.
• Support manufacturing, quality improvement and consumer complaint investigations while ensuring compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in electronic product design, development, testing and validation.
• Experience supporting products through NPI and volume manufacturing, preferably in medical device development.

Required skills

• Analogue and digital circuit design.
• Microprocessors, microcontrollers and embedded systems.
• PCB design, layout and debugging, including EMC/EMI considerations.
• Collaboration with firmware/software teams on embedded product development.
• Root‑cause analysis and technical problem‑solving.
• Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma, Lean Development, FMEA, ISO 13485 and risk management processes.
