Senior Director, APAC LEM Business

About the role

The Senior Director, APAC LEM Business will lead Lubrizol’s TempRite and Engineered & Medical Polymers portfolio across the Asia‑Pacific region. Reporting to global business leadership, you will own the P&L, drive profitable growth, and shape the regional strategy through customer‑centric initiatives and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the APAC business strategy to achieve revenue targets and market leadership for TempRite and Engineered & Medical Polymers.
• Own the regional P&L, improve cash‑flow, forecast accuracy and optimise spend.
• Lead, coach and develop the APAC team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and customer focus.
• Partner with supply chain, procurement, R&D, manufacturing and commercial teams to align product development, new‑product introductions and go‑to‑market plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and industry experts to identify growth opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Implement a Management Operating System to drive commercial excellence and monitor performance metrics.
• Manage the CRM pipeline, ensuring sales and marketing activities meet or exceed strategic targets.
• Provide insights and economic modelling to support strategic decisions and new‑business initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in science, business or a related field.
• Extensive senior‑level experience in P&L ownership, commercial leadership and business development within the chemicals or polymers industry.
• Proven track record of driving profitable growth in the APAC region.
• Strong analytical, communication and influencing skills with the ability to work across functions and cultures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, diverse teams and foster a high‑performance culture.
