Senior DevOps Specialist – Product Data Management

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Specialist – PDM to provide strong technical ownership and operational leadership for KONE’s Product Data Management (PDM) platforms and related AWS‑based services. This senior technical authority role carries end‑to‑end accountability for reliability, resilience, and operational excellence of PDM‑related services.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end operational health of PDM digital products and AWS services, ensuring high availability, stability, security and maintainability.
• Define and maintain operational architecture and service standards, guaranteeing scalability and resilience in global production environments.
• Govern production readiness and go‑live decisions, mitigating operational risks before releases.
• Lead major PDM incidents, coordinating internal teams and external suppliers for rapid containment and executive‑level communication.
• Drive problem management and root‑cause governance, delivering long‑term structural fixes.
• Translate operational pain points into roadmap improvements and champion reliability, availability and security as core quality attributes.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience operating AWS production environments (ECS, Amazon RDS Aurora PostgreSQL, CloudFormation, CloudWatch).
• Deep understanding of PLM/PDM platforms, product structures and data flows.
• Expertise in DevOps, Agile and ITIL‑based service management.
• Proven ability to lead major incidents, problem management and root‑cause analysis across multiple teams and suppliers.
