Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Platform

About the role

Philips HealthSuite Digital Platform is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to build, operate, and evolve cloud platform services that enable healthcare innovation at scale. You will join a global Cloud Operations team responsible for end‑to‑end management and reliability of IaaS and PaaS capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate and continuously improve cloud platform capabilities across IaaS and PaaS environments.
• Build and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using infrastructure‑as‑code and DevOps practices.
• Apply Site Reliability Engineering principles to improve service availability, scalability, observability, performance, incident response and operational resilience.
• Collaborate with software engineering, platform engineering, security, network and product teams to deliver secure, reliable and developer‑friendly platform services.
• Embed security‑by‑design and DevSecOps practices across the platform lifecycle, including identity and access management, vulnerability remediation and software supply‑chain controls.
• Develop and enhance monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, operational documentation and runbooks.
• Lead technical troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and post‑incident improvement initiatives, automating opportunities to reduce operational toil.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE or Cloud Operations.
• Strong practical experience with public‑cloud environments, preferably AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience designing or operating cloud‑native platforms, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC and automation.
• Solid scripting and automation skills with understanding of networking, security and OS fundamentals; Windows experience is a plus.
• Clear communication in spoken and written English and ability to collaborate with global, cross‑functional stakeholders.
