Senior Demand and Inventory Planner

About the role

This position is responsible for multi‑brand demand planning across defined channels in the China market, while also supporting the broader APAC region. The planner will build and manage phased demand forecasts using internal and external inputs, and ensure those forecasts translate into effective supply and inventory plans.

Key responsibilities

• Own the China & Rest of Asia (ROA) forecast process for Pentland brands, with a primary focus on Speedo.
• Consolidate and drive seasonal forecasts for APAC (China, ROA, ANZ).
• Collaborate closely with the Merchandising team to develop key franchise demand plans for both seasonal and long‑term horizons.
• Manage China order buying in partnership with the Commercial and Global Sourcing teams.
• Coordinate SMU product planning for exclusive accounts such as SAM and Decathlon.
• Oversee seasonal buying plans with global and APAC sourcing teams.
• Support overall business and inventory management under the direction of the Inventory Management Operations Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience in demand planning for multiple brands, especially within the APAC region.
• Strong ability to consolidate forecasts across countries and channels.
• Experience working with merchandising, commercial, and sourcing functions.
• Familiarity with inventory management metrics such as forecast accuracy, stock levels, and sell‑through rates.
