Senior Clinical Development Scientist – Ultrasound & EI

About the role

Join Philips’ Medical and Clinical Affairs team in Greater China as a Senior Clinical Development Scientist focusing on Ultrasound and Emerging Imaging. You will support evidence‑generation, clinical development and market‑access activities for new product introductions and post‑market projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assess clinical trial protocols and studies to ensure regulatory alignment and contribute to study design refinement.
• Execute clinical development and market‑access strategies for assigned New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and post‑market activities, integrating inputs from marketing, health economics and post‑market surveillance.
• Draft comprehensive Clinical Evaluation Reports (CERs), Clinical Study Reports (CSRs) and clinical sections of regulatory submissions with meticulous attention to compliance.
• Troubleshoot data collection, analysis and reporting issues to maintain data integrity and study outcomes.
• Apply deep domain knowledge in technology and therapeutic areas to enhance clinical development activities.
• Produce high‑quality documentation using standard software tools and adhere to internal and external regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in medical science, clinical medicine, biomedical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant industry experience in the medical‑device sector.
• At least two years of experience in clinical evaluation or clinical research.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
