Senior Buyer – Automotive & Aftermarket

About the role

As a Senior Buyer you will lead purchasing activities for Bosch's TG/PAG gasoline segment, supporting both export and domestic markets. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to secure competitive supply and drive cost efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Scout, evaluate and coordinate sourcing decisions for suppliers in China and overseas markets (EU, NA, etc.).
• Conduct RFQs, COQs and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and performance.
• Manage supplier projects, ensuring alignment with Bosch requirements and monitoring deliverables.
• Perform product cost analysis, drive cost‑reduction initiatives and negotiate savings.
• Prepare and execute annual price negotiations to meet target objectives.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies in line with BU marketing and procurement goals.
• Mentor suppliers on commercial, quality and delivery aspects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field; Business Administration or Supply Chain degrees are also acceptable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive or aftermarket industry, preferably within a multinational environment.
• At least 5 years of project‑management experience, with successful completion of an international project.
• Strong knowledge of cost analysis, data‑driven decision making, and implementation of cost‑saving measures.
• General finance understanding and excellent communication skills across functions and regions.
• Proven experience in supplier management and mentorship, capable of leading suppliers independently.
• Fluent in both Chinese and English, written and spoken.
• Pro‑active, self‑leading and willing to take on challenging tasks.
