Senior Backend Software Engineer (Remote, China)

About the role

Senior Backend Software Engineer leading architectural decisions, building core user experiences like instant bidding and live interactions, and developing scalable systems for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Node.js for web and mobile applications.
• Own components or systems end‑to‑end, delivering large‑scope projects with high productivity.
• Handle DevOps duties including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure management, deployment automation, and system reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to create scalable products and services.

Required profile

• BS or higher in Computer Science.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin.
• 5+ years experience building highly scalable and reliable infrastructure.
• Payment system experience preferred.
• Hands‑on DevOps experience with CI/CD, IaC, Kubernetes/Docker, and GCP/AWS.
