Senior Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Architect to lead design and construction activities across multiple projects and proposals. You will be responsible for planning, designing, coordinating and documenting site plans and buildings while ensuring compliance with Exyte standards, local codes and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept, basic, detailed (construction) designs and work packages for assigned projects.
• Prepare tender documentation, specifications and reports.
• Coordinate designs with internal teams, clients, contractors, authorities and suppliers.
• Lead project meetings, presentations, site walks and design reviews; produce detailed minutes.
• Inspect construction sites to verify safety, quality, schedule and design compliance.
• Manage change orders and design modifications, proactively solving coordination issues.
• Promote safety awareness and contribute to incident‑free workplace initiatives.

Required profile

• Design and construction experience in general building projects.
• Experience in life‑science facilities (GMP knowledge) – preferred.
• Optional experience in high‑technology, fast‑track or modular projects.
• Fluent in reading, writing and presenting in English and Mandarin.
• Strong sketching ability and manual drawing skills for rapid concept sharing.
• Proven capability to review and coordinate drawings and manage time/resources efficiently.

• Latest version Revit (mandatory).
• Microsoft Office suite – Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint (mandatory).
• Photoshop (optional but preferred).
• SketchUp (optional but preferred).
• Microsoft Project (optional but preferred).
• 3D rendering software (optional but preferred).
