About the role

We are looking for an energetic Sales Representative to join our global electronic components distribution team. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to start a career in sales and develop expertise in the electronics industry.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify potential customer leads using online tools and databases.
• Conduct high‑volume cold calling and prospecting to promote Smith’s value‑added services.
• Negotiate pricing with customers while staying informed of market trends.
• Collaborate with the purchasing team to maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of inventory levels.
• Build and manage full customer accounts, qualifying leads and understanding client requirements.

Required profile

• Strong telephone communication skills with the ability to build relationships quickly.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• Willingness to make daily outbound calls and handle confidential data responsibly.
• Previous experience in sales or cold‑calling is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
