Sales Manager – China Market

About the role

As a Sales Manager at Flexport, you will drive growth by closing new business and expanding a diversified portfolio of Chinese brand and enterprise clients. You will operate with autonomy while receiving guidance and coaching to ensure long‑term success in a fast‑changing, AI‑enabled selling environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and lead local sales initiatives to fuel growth of Chinese brand and enterprise clients.
• Consult with clients to understand logistics and supply‑chain needs using a solutions‑based approach.
• Create value‑driven solutions across Flexport’s product suite, grounded in deep research of the client’s order‑to‑cash cycle.
• Establish scalable commercial processes and systems.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to drive client success and revenue generation.
• Provide market intelligence and data analysis to inform strategy.
• Identify upsell opportunities and develop strategic account plans with client operations teams.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in commercial and analytics‑heavy roles.
• Proven relationship management and project/program/process management skills.
• Strong analytical ability and comfort with numbers.
• Deep understanding of real‑world supply‑chain concepts and logistics in Greater China.
• Hands‑on, self‑starter attitude thriving in unstructured, multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Willingness to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
