Sales Engineer – Industrial Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to drive strategic sales of industrial separation equipment in Shanghai. You will work closely with key accounts, EPC contractors and our technical team to deliver solutions that unlock resource efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet order, margin and cash‑flow targets.
• Identify market opportunities, maintain the sales funnel in CRM and produce monthly business reports.
• Build and nurture relationships with key accounts, EPC contractors, design institutes and system builders.
• Coordinate with the central technical team for project execution, product adaptation and engineering support.
• Develop and manage sales agents or distributors to expand channel coverage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process Equipment, Environmental or Materials Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of project‑based sales experience in industrial equipment, solid‑liquid separation or environmental protection machinery.
• Proven track record selling decanter centrifuges, high‑speed separators or similar process separation equipment.
• Experience with top‑tier separation brands (e.g., Flottweg, GEA) or knowledge of battery value chain, water treatment, coal‑chemical applications is a plus.
• Strong sales mentality, customer orientation and ability to perform under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
