Regional Manager – South China

About the role

Emirates is seeking a Regional Manager for South China to lead commercial activities, drive sales performance and expand market share. Based in Shenzhen, you will be the primary champion of Emirates’ brand, working closely with trade partners, corporate clients and local authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all sales activities to achieve revenue targets and align with corporate commercial and marketing objectives.
• Identify regional growth opportunities, monitor market trends and competitor actions, and propose timely sales strategies.
• Track route profitability, evaluate emerging market segments and recommend improvements.
• Lead, coach and develop regional sales and retail teams, ensuring high productivity and sales discipline.
• Negotiate incentive agreements, allocate marketing funds and meet ROI targets.
• Prepare quarterly and annual sales business plans, budgets and lead regional sales meetings.
• Maintain strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, local authorities and industry bodies.
• Represent Emirates professionally both inside and outside office hours.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial aviation or airline sales leadership.
• Strong market knowledge of South China and ability to build strategic partnerships.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Track record of delivering revenue growth and managing cost centres responsibly.
• Ability to lead multicultural teams and drive performance.
