Regional Business Manager Water and Treatment Solutions

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a Regional Business Manager to drive global sales of its Water and Treatment solutions portfolio for new‑building projects. You will build long‑term relationships with shipowners and shipyards, develop strategic business plans, and contribute to the growth of the Marine Solutions business.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop new‑building global sales for products such as Fresh Water Generators, PureSox, PureBilge, PureVent and PureNox.
• Develop and execute strategic, tactical and operative business plans to generate project leads and revenue growth.
• Conduct regular customer visits, maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast, and keep CRM records up to date.
• Create customer proposals with clear, quantified value propositions and coordinate cross‑country sales activities.
• Collect market intelligence, customer insights and competitor activity to support commercial strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the marine industry, preferably in commercial roles with shipyards or shipowners.
• Strong customer focus, communication, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix organization.
• Proactive, results‑driven mindset with excellent planning and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using digital collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of ONECRM system for sales tracking.
