Quality Systems Manager

About the role

Johnson Electric is looking for a Quality Systems Manager to oversee the APG Asia quality systems for its locations in Shenzhen, Jiangmen and India, and to lead the APG QSE team. The position is based in Shenzhen or Jiangmen, China, with a 5-day station, company hostel and transportation provided.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee APG Asia quality systems for Shenzhen, Jiangmen and India, and lead and facilitate the APG QSE team.
• Maintain certifications and compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, QC080000 and VDA 6.3, and arrange training.
• Coordinate internal quality audits, LPA, VDA 6.3 process, CQI and dock audits.
• Prepare functional teams for customer audits and support the review and feedback of customer questionnaires.
• Organize quality management reviews, track customer feedback scorecards and quality performance.
• Update procedures, work instructions and forms to match quality standards and customer requirements.
• Support enterprise projects tied to quality systems, product safety compliance (E4 and E24 certifications), and the rollout of Quality End-to-End, digitization and AI projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above; engineering majors preferred.
• 5+ years of experience leading and motivating Quality System Engineers and functional teams.
• Good English and Mandarin; Cantonese is an advantage.
• Experience in automotive industries, especially with OEMs and Tier-one customers.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, QC080000, VDA 6.3, CQI and OEM/Tier-one customer requirements.
• Planning and managing customer and third-party audits, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Industrial 4.0, digitization and AI experience is an advantage.
