Project Manager - Smart Factory Transfer

About the role

Johnson Electric is looking for a Project Manager in Jiangmen. The role covers end-to-end project delivery, starting from customer enquiries and managing changes and deliverables until project launch, and includes coordinating the transfer of the production line from Shajing to the new smart factory in Jiangmen.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate directly with customers to understand their requirements and order details, and manage changes throughout the project cycle
• Create a new project with a timeline and identified risks from the enquiry stage, and manage all deliverables until project launch
• Work with the Engineering team to develop cost-effective solutions and monitor investment and product costs
• Work with cross-functional teams to meet PPM targets
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to complete projects within the agreed timeline and budget
• Take part in all meetings and handle the necessary documentation during the project
• Lead the production line transfer from Shajing to the new smart factory in Jiangmen

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; engineering major preferred
• 10 years of work experience in project management
• Project experience related to automotive products is an advantage
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Good time management, communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and willing to learn
