Project Manager – Manufacturing Innovation (Tianjin)

About the role

The Project Manager will join the Manufacturing Innovation team at Airbus China R&D Centre in Tianjin. You will lead the creation, coordination and execution of advanced manufacturing projects, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality and KPIs in line with the project charter.
• Identify digital transformation opportunities, clarify requirements and engage technical discussions with suppliers.
• Lead projects through proof‑of‑concept, industrial maturity and full implementation phases.
• Coordinate resources, monitor performance and resolve issues proactively.
• Facilitate continuous communication with key stakeholders and ensure smooth project closure.
• Collaborate with functional teams to address internal customer issues and guide projects toward industrialisation.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering (Aerospace manufacturing, Industrial engineering, Automation or related fields preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience in enterprise digital transformation, advanced manufacturing technology application or industrial vision projects.
• Hands‑on experience in at least two digitalisation or advanced manufacturing implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of business processes and digital systems in manufacturing industries.
