About the role
ABB Xiamen Switchgear Co., Ltd. is hiring a Project Engineer (more than 3 years' experience) who reports to the Project Manager. The role covers electrical design of medium-voltage switchgear and project management of complex projects, and sits within the switchgear industry.
Key responsibilities
- Electrical design of medium-voltage switchgear and project management of complex projects
- Negotiate with customers and sign technical agreements
- Optimize project designs and promote standardization
- Provide strong technical support internally and externally, and mentor new employees, assistant engineers and engineers
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or above in electrical automation or a related field; a master's degree is preferred
- Over 3 years of electrical design experience; medium-voltage switchgear experience preferred
- Good communication and logical thinking skills
- Good English listening, speaking, reading and writing
- Solid quality and cost-control experience
Required skills
- Knowledge of power systems, including high-voltage technology, power system analysis and protection relays
- Proficiency in office software, EPLAN and AutoCAD
