About the role

The Information Technology Division of NDB is seeking a Professional in Business Applications to join its Shanghai headquarters. The role focuses on implementing, enhancing, and supporting the bank’s business solutions, ensuring they meet international standards and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and continuously improve institutional application systems such as HR, compliance, procurement, and digital workflow platforms.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and user assistance to maintain system stability and performance.
• Ensure all solutions comply with international best practices, regulatory frameworks, and NDB governance.
• Act as a liaison between business units and technology teams, translating requirements into future‑proof solutions.
• Design, source, and implement cost‑optimized solutions while conducting timely technology assessments.
• Engage with diverse stakeholders to gather requirements, negotiate solutions, and communicate outcomes.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and develop technology interventions aligned with organizational priorities.
• Prepare clear documentation and communicate requirements to internal and external parties.

Required profile

• Proven experience with business domain applications (HR, compliance, procurement, workflow, collaboration tools).
• Strong understanding of international best practices and regulatory compliance in the financial sector.
• Ability to bridge business and technology, analyze needs, and propose state‑of‑the‑art solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
