Production Technical Manager – Technology Product Management

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Production Technical Manager to lead a team of technical product contributors in Shanghai. The role focuses on delivering innovative healthcare solutions by managing product roadmaps, sprint backlogs, and ensuring alignment with stakeholder requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of individual contributors and supervisors, overseeing performance, workflow, and compliance.
• Develop tactical and operational plans to achieve Technical Product Management goals and communicate them across the organization.
• Own and execute product roadmaps, prioritize sprint backlogs, and balance stakeholder requirements.
• Lead functional design processes based on deep user and technology knowledge.
• Advise managers on product functionality, pricing decisions, and anticipate bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with development timelines, procedures, and integrate Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing technical product teams and delivering product roadmaps.
• Strong ability to communicate plans and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Experience in healthcare, MedTech, or related innovative technology environments.
• Demonstrated skill in performance management, escalation handling, and consensus building.
