About the role
The Product Testing / Industrialization Expert is responsible for defining, developing, and industrializing End‑of‑Line (EOL) test solutions to ensure that products meet functional, electrical, safety, and customer requirements before shipment. This role acts as the primary bridge between R&D and manufacturing, supporting new product industrialization, process implementation, and cost optimisation.
Key responsibilities
- Define EOL test requirements, scope and coverage during concept and development phases.
- Create and maintain EOL test specifications aligned with product functionality, safety and customer needs.
- Design and implement automated or semi‑automated EOL test flows and verify test interfaces with hardware and mechanical teams.
- Support DVT, PVT and SOP phases, analyse and resolve test failures, and continuously improve test stability, time and yield.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing plants and EMS partners during ramp‑up and line operation.
- Participate in manufacturing reviews (TA, DFMA, feasibility) and cost validation activities.
- Drive process optimisation, continuous improvement and value‑stream VAVE measures.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Communication, Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with EOL/FCT/ICT testing for automotive or industrial electronics products.
- Familiarity with at least one automotive communication protocol (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Strong understanding of hardware fundamentals such as power‑supply architecture, SoC/MCU principles and common interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO).
- Hands‑on experience in mass‑production environments and new‑product industrialisation.
- Excellent cross‑functional communication skills and ability to drive issues to closure independently.
- Proficient English communication (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
