Process Engineer (ME)

About the role

Bosch is looking for a Process Engineer (ME) to drive operational excellence in its Suzhou facility. You will be responsible for defining, optimizing, and implementing manufacturing processes and equipment to improve quality, cost, and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Define, optimize and implement final‑assembly processes, including flow, parameters, profiles, calibration and Cmk.
• Set up, evaluate, purchase, install, and maintain equipment; lead TPM activities and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues.
• Design, source, and manage tooling; ensure proper incoming inspection and setup.
• Monitor and improve operational KPIs (CT, MTBF, equipment uptime) and production line performance.
• Drive quality improvement using SPC, 5‑Why analysis, PSS, and 8D problem‑solving.
• Reduce manufacturing costs through spare‑part optimization and cost‑effective production concepts.
• Prepare and release technical documentation such as assembly drawings, work instructions and TPM plans.
• Provide technical training to technicians and operators.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities and report progress to supervisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in process and equipment engineering, TPM and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to develop and release processes (DOE, SPC, Cmk).
• Fluent English for technical communication.
