Principle System Engineer - Automotive MCU

About the role

NXP is looking for a Principle System Engineer for its automotive MCU business in Shanghai (Zhangjiang). The role leads platform software architecture, development and system integration across AUTOSAR, embedded software, automotive networking and MCU platforms, while driving customer engagements and solution adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Lead platform software architecture, development and system integration across AUTOSAR, embedded software, automotive networking and MCU platforms, and drive customer engagements and solution adoption.
• Act as the technical expert for platform software and embedded systems, leading technical decisions and resolving complex software, hardware and integration challenges.
• Support customers across Greater China on system integration, architecture definition, debugging and technical issue resolution.

Required profile

• 8+ years of AUTOSAR Classic Platform experience, with deep expertise in the Vector AUTOSAR stack, OS, BSW, MCAL and system integration.
• Deep expertise in embedded software, MCU architecture and AUTOSAR integration, with a strong track record of solving complex system-level challenges across software, hardware and platform boundaries.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in defining platform architecture, driving technical decisions, mentoring engineers and leading cross-functional problem solving.

• Non-AUTOSAR RTOS and automotive Ethernet (TSN, AVB/AVTP) is a plus
