Pricing Manager – China

About the role

The Pricing Manager China will drive profitable growth by ensuring discounts and commercial pricing decisions are applied strategically and consistently across the sales organization in China. This role safeguards margin, controls price leakage, and provides analytical support for customer negotiations and pricing decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute pricing and discount strategies in collaboration with Sales, Finance, Product & Solutions, and pricing teams.
• Apply pricing guidelines, discount guardrails, approval frameworks, and pricing tools to ensure consistent execution.
• Monitor discount practices, track compliance, and evaluate the commercial impact of discount investments.
• Identify and analyse price leakages and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform pricing analysis, price planning, and scenario modelling to support commercial strategies.
• Prepare customer‑specific price and profitability simulations for negotiations and tenders.
• Partner with sales teams to strengthen pricing discipline and improve negotiation effectiveness.
• Execute and continuously improve price planning and governance processes for new products and price changes.
• Deliver actionable analyses, business cases, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Deep understanding of pricing, discount structures, and profitability drivers.
• Ability to challenge commercial decisions constructively and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• High degree of independence with strong networking and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or commercial finance.
• Experience working closely with sales organizations in a B2B environment.
