About the role

The position is for a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to provide comprehensive prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care, as well as surgical and conservative treatment for reproductive system conditions. The role involves collaboration with other OB/GYN doctors, midwives, and the department chair to improve quality and achieve departmental goals.

Key responsibilities

• Prescribe and manage prenatal and postnatal care, including diet and medication plans.
• Perform deliveries and assist in obstetric surgeries, coordinating with anesthesiologists.
• Interpret X‑ray and laboratory test results, and order necessary investigations.
• Direct nursing staff in pre‑operative and post‑operative procedures, including sedation and wound preparation.
• Treat surgical shock, postoperative hemorrhage, and other complications.
• Participate in department‑wide quality improvement initiatives with peers and leadership.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (or equivalent).
• Valid Chinese physician practice license.
• Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology approved by department leadership.
• Minimum five years of post‑residency clinical experience preferred.
• Basic English communication skills, both written and spoken.
