Mathematics Teacher – Secondary School

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our secondary school in Tangshan for the upcoming academic year starting August 2026. The role involves delivering high‑quality mathematics instruction to students aged 15‑18 within a Chinese‑foreign cooperative school program linked to Nova Scotia, Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Teach mathematics to secondary school students, ensuring engaging and enriching lessons.
• Prepare lesson plans, design and grade assessments, and write detailed report comments.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and enhance the school curriculum.
• Monitor student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to learners, parents, and caregivers.
• Maintain a supportive and safe learning environment.
• Teach 20‑25 hours per week plus two hours of daily administrative duties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field.
• Valid teaching certificate.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in mathematics.
• Excellent communication skills.
