About the role
We are looking for a Material Planner to oversee both long‑term and short‑term material forecasts, ensuring a smooth flow of raw materials to support production. The role involves close collaboration with suppliers, forwarders and internal teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain rolling forecasts for material requirements.
- Communicate regularly with suppliers to monitor deliveries and address issues.
- Escalate material shortages and coordinate corrective actions.
- Control raw‑material inventory, eliminating dead stock and slow‑moving items.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve material‑related problems.
- Track order confirmations and schedule pick‑up or shipping dates with suppliers and forwarders.
Required profile
- High school diploma or higher.
- More than five years of experience in material planning or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of material planning systems and inventory control.
- Strong teamwork orientation and effective communication abilities.
